Hi, I hope I'm in the right place. I have an LG Optimus L 9 cell phone, and as you may know, it has a limited on board memory. I have been trying to clear space for downloading and updating apps, but I found that I cannot seem to clear the pictures in my gallery. I have an SD card with plenty of room, which I thought I moved the pictures from the internal to the SD card memory. But it still seems to show a lot of memory still being used by Gallery on the internal memory, and therefore still running short of space. It does seem to back up to the Google Plus backup, but I can't seem to get the pictures out of the Gallery, even though they show them being on the SD card with the little icon in them. When I go to the .settings and then storage it shows a lot of space still being used by pictures when there should be very little. I thought I have moved them all to he SD card. How can I clear that space on the internal memory, and what is actually happening here? It seems as if I try to delete them from there it wants to delete from everything including from the G+ backup. I just want to keep them only on the SD card and be able to access them from there, what can I do?

Area you talking about the gallery app or the Google+ "Photos" app?

Both the photos and the gallery app will show you all your backed up photos that are online, as well as any that are on your phone or sdcard. You could go into you Google account settings on the phone and turn off sync for the gallery app and then clear the data in the app itself, this might help.

But you would be better just either using the phone as is, or, if you have out grown the capabilities, which it sounds like you have, go for a phone with more internal storage.
