G+_david wayne Posted July 27, 2014 Share Posted July 27, 2014 I'm actually rooted and running aokp custom rom on my note 2. Your issue could be carrier bloatware. After I rooted and flashed the custom rom, my battery life doubled. A so called "vanilla" or pure Google version of the os is much more efficient at managing power consumption.
