I'm very impressed that after a year of living with my HTC One M8 it still feels very fresh. I have had absolutely no complaints about it whatsoever - it has remained fast and reliable over all this time.

 

It is the first phone I have ever had that I haven't been hankering for an upgrade after 12 months.

 

Sure, a bit more resolution in the camera would be nice, but I haven't had any complaints about the quality of photos.

 

Even though I have the 16GB model, I have had no problems with storage especially after adding in an additional SD card.

 

Even though I'm still on KitKat 4.4.4, I don't feel the lack of Lollipop is much of a restriction, apart from managing files on my SD card.

 

Maybe in 12 months time, when it is time to upgrade, there will be something compelling to upgrade to, but I don't feel this year's new flagship models offer me any must-have features.
