On tomorrow's show, we welcome Mobile Security Researcher Justin Case. He's the creator of the SunShine bootloader unlock tool (http://theroot.ninja/) and has been incredibly active on XDA over the years. He's responsible for much of the research that results in you being able to unlock and ROM your device. Pretty awesome.

We'll chat with him for a bit about Android security topics. Do you have any questions we should ask Justin during that portion? Throw them in the comments below!

Not so much a security related question, but still relevant: I feel like I'm just getting into rooting and ROM-ing when the greater Android community has moved away from it. Why do you think this is? Yes, Android has matured as a platform, and maybe it isn't as necessary to root your phone as it once was, when it was the only way to get a good experience. But playing around with custom ROMs and Xposed modules is just so much fun! Maybe people don't want to sacrifice security for freedom as much anymore, especially when more are using Android/Samsung Pay? Thoughts?

Jason Howell Will it take a major security breach, not just a ZOMG 90% of Android phones have this fatal flaw with no known cases of an actual exploit, for Android OEMs to take security more seriously by committing to monthly security patch updates for all of their devices?
