G+_Martin Ferretti
Ok let's make the Arena interesting...how about the flick to launch camera gesture on any device? G+_Paul Werner
There is this app but it hasn't worked well for me. Check my review on the apps page and the developers reply: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.RSen.OpenMic

G+_Paul Werner
I'll have to try it again sometime possibly but in the short amount of time I tried it I only had issues. What phone did you try it on?
G+_Martin Ferretti
Nexus 4. Itd be faster to launch with the swipe up it seems though.
G+_Paul Werner
Yeah, that's part of why I didn't use it. Now my test was while I was at a restaurant so that's why it may not have recognized me but I'd rather it start up the listening for Google Now with the screen on from the screen off state (like the Moto X). Hopefully the dev. will be able to pull that off. I'll still get to mess around with it later in the month when I get my wife the Moto X for Ting
G+_Martin Ferretti
You're right it does act a little funny when u play with it for a while. I ended up buying Twisty Launcher to unlock all gestures ($1) then set the double twist for camera and shake for voice search. Works great. G+_Paul Werner
That sounds cool. Just yesterday I set up through Tasker and Dashclock a button to take a photo without even launching the camera at all. The only possible downside with my setup is that since Dashclock (usually) doesn't let you launch into an app directly (without first unlocking your phone) then I have to unlock my phone after pressing the button but once I do it the photo is taken. Figured I'd have moments where I'd want to really quickly take a photo and I don't want to have to press power, swipe to the right for the camera to open, wait for it to get focus so i can click the shutter (or similar if I'm using a 3rd party app for quick photos since I'd still need to power on the phone, unlock, then launch the camera app and wait for it to get ready) Not that the wait is all that long but some moments you need it very quick and pressing a button on dashclock then unlocking is a whole lot quicker
