I left Android the day Windows Phone came out because of Paul Thurrot's recommendation. Until recently I regretted it. I loved the platform on day one but after numerous set backs can anyone be truly excited about the platform? Google and Apple come out with a major update each year to their mobile operating systems. This year Microsoft is only planning small releases while their Blue update will ship next year. If you are in a distant third wouldn't you be working overtime and using the billions you have in the bank to get your platform on par with the industry leaders? Maybe I'm just becoming down on the platform, but coming from someone who was a self proclaimed fanboy of Microsoft, it's hard not to be disappointed. Does Microsoft not even care? In recent years I was always curious to try android again (I loved the my touch 3G) but I have always been off put by carrier bloat ware that you can't uninstall which makes a horrible experience. I know you can root it, but I don't buy a device to do that. So today I purchased a nexus 4. I will buy the Moto X when it's released ause I believe in buying American products. Great job Google for restoring my faith again.

Putting this out there if it matter. Jelly Bean let's you disable apps, even carrier bloatware. They disappear from the app drawer and can't run in the background anymore. It's like they aren't there except for one thing; unfortunately it is not an uninstall, so if you are short sd space it doesn't help there. Just in case you ever end up with a carrier phone. :-) ?
