G+_Jonathan Hersman
Is anyone using Halo for android? Its like the Facebook chat heads but encompasses all of your notifications. What are your thoughts?

G+_Jonathan Hersman
But FN doesn't give you the floating window it just takes you to the app..is that right?
G+_Spencer McClendon
For now. ;-) Each update is bringing new features. I'm part of the beta test and you should believe me when I say it's worth a look.

G+_Jonathan Hersman
I agree I love the fact that I can type this response in G+ in a separate window then go right back to what I was doing without forgetting ;). Its running super smooth on Carbonrom on Note
G+_Alex Kruger
I've got Halo on my Carbonrom vzw GS3, I like it. Still a work in progress, but it's turning out to be a fantastic feature.
G+_Jonathan Hersman
Alex Kruger you need to download Halo))) from the playstore so you can customize what apps will appear in your Halo..Awesome

G+_Renny Itwaru
I haven't used FN but Halo is awesome. The Paranoid Android team is constantly making updates. Give it a shot.
G+_Michael Plastow
Where can I get Halo from!?
G+_Alex Kruger
Michael Plastow Paranoid Android and CarbonROM both have Halo. I don't know about any other custom ROMs that have it, but you have to root, unlock and flash a custom ROM to get it.
G+_Jonathan Hersman
To get the experience and if your not rooted try floating notifications please in the play store...But if you have the opportunity and the time go with Carbonrom goo.im/devs/carbon
G+_Michael Plastow
Alex Kruger Oh, I was hoping to install it on stock ROM, I thought there maybe an apk floating around...
G+_Jonathan Hersman
If you just want an apk use "Floating Notifications". They are a G+ community and doing some things similar to Halo.
G+_Renny Itwaru
I haven't used CarbonRom...what are differences/advantages over Paranoid Android?
G+_Jonathan Hersman
Both use AOSP so both are stable with the 4.2.2 builds. Carbonrom produce very stable nightlys with great CM innovations incorporated, ie (privacy mode). If you want to take a look at the changes made nightly here is a link to the Carbon changelog. I would recommend checking it out. I've tried many JB based ROMs and in my opinion this is by far the best!! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Zcp6iVWVw_7iH-ErnKgkYy3r5QuqV8PHFoQMb8hoBwQ/edit?usp=docslist_api
