G+_Shaun Snee
I read back in December that the Android 5.1 would include battery improvements. I have not seen them listed in the current release blog posts. I love my Nexus 5, but battery life is extremely short. 5.1 has not been available for me yet. Anyone with a Nexus 5 running 5.1 see any battery improvements?
G+_Kenny “KitkatRai” Rouss
There wouldn't be much point in saying "battery life improvements" in the change log, since the reason it was bad was due to a bug, which they fixed, a Nex 5 owner on another post I saw stated that battery life was a bit better and that performance was great
G+_Joseph Cappellino
I just flashed it now. I won't be able to comment on the battery life for a couple more days.
G+_AC
I flashed my N5 last night, basically a freshly imaged device, loaded my apps and configured my settings. My 14 hour impression is the device is a lot snappier.... Smoother transitions.... More polished. I see no difference in battery life and have about 3 hours of screen on time since flashing. My device is about 10 months old and consider myself a heavy user so i never have great battery life, anything over for 3 hours screen on time is considered fantastic for me

G+_James Deak
It's short because the battery is small, plain and simple, it's never gonna have a all of a sudden crazy battery improvement
