G+_Nathan K
Where Is The Lollipop For Nexus 7? I have a Nexus 7 2014 and still haven't gotten the update to Lollipop. Any one know why? I really want the extra child features to allow my son to use the tablet and not mess it up. Thanks. Love the show. #nfb
G+_Jason L Chapman
They didn't release a Nexus 7 this year, so... If you bought a Nexus 7 (2014) someone sold you a fake Nexus device or simply mislabeled it. Nexus 7s are 2012 or 2013. WiFi versions should already have the update. Mobile data versions, recently updated by Google, are dependent on carriers give or take a couple weeks.
G+_Tom Marinello
My 2013 Nexus 7 JUST got the 5.0.1 (!) update yesterday. Never got 5.0.

G+_Seth Goldstein
I have the 2013 N7 Wifi and don't have the update. That's my question. I bought it from Staples so I doubt it's fake. :-p

G+_Tom Marinello
ZDNet article dated today;Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update coming soon Summary:Owners of Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10 should be seeing Android 5.0.1 update for Lollipop landing on their devices soon which should squash the unpleasant bugs that have been plaguing Lollipop early adopters. So, I guess I was REALLY early getting 5.0.1. Reecently heard that Google releases new updates to 1% of that device population, waits for bugs, then to 25% of that device, and waits for bug reports before opening it up to all. So, I'm finally part of the 1% I guess.
G+_Ted Fishman
Holly M. Paddock I was thinking the exact same thing. Maybe not a bad idea
G+_Tom Marinello
ZDNet goes on to say, "Users have been complaining of poor battery life (a problem that appears to be widespread on the Nexus 5), overheating (Nexus 9) and storage related issues (Nexus 6). Some users claimed that the update rendered their devices unusable."

G+_Terry Green
If you haven't got the lollipop update on your Nexus 7 you should be happy, it might be better once it's patched but now it's horrible.
G+_Kenny “KitkatRai” Rouss
According to Twit, the way Google updates devices is with this, with the OTA, 1% of that device are updated, if a week later there are no issues, no one reporting terrible bugs, then 25% more devices are updated, if another week goes by and nothing happens, another 25%, however if a major bug is reported anywhere along the way, they stop that and work on fixing the bug before adding more

G+_Javier Santillan
I never got 5.0, updated straight to 5.0.1 I don't see any problems so far. The lockscreen notifications is the biggest change I have seen. I need to control what is shown on the lockscreen.
G+_Ted Fishman
Javier Santillan you can filter the cards or use a different lock screen. AcDisplay works well with lollipop
