G+_Richard Sequeira
I would like to check if anyone else is having this same problem. Ads are being served to me on top of multiple apps including Twitter and Google+. They will obscure texts on the screen and are very annoying. Sometimes they even linger on the home screen after you've closed an app. If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate if you could share. p/s I just hope this isn't a Google initiative. ? Update : its probably Google. https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/html/mobile-about.html
G+_Adam Lawrence (coggy9)
It's not Google, but a horrible app that's abusing the ability to draw over other apps. Uninstall what you don't need. Can you get a list of apps that you have installed?
G+_Kyle Turpin
The link you cited is about ads in apps, not overlaid on them.
G+_James Thatcher
Actually I had this happen on one of my old phones, turns out it was a game that was pushing the adds even when the game app wasn't running... Look for any goofy games your installed recently
