G+_Paul Newton
Now that the "OK Google" prompt to wake up your phone is built into Android, which existing devices have digital signal processing support (other than the Nexus 6, 9 and presumably Moto X)? Any chance that this will work on my Nexus 5?
G+_Madison Romero
Yes it is built in. Go to google now page. Then bottom right settings. Voice settings. OK google now detection.
G+_Paul Newton
What you are talking about only works when the screen is on, that won't let me wake up my phone by voice. Lollipop builds in the voice activation functionality much like the Moto X has. I am just curious how many current phones will be able to take advantage of this once they get the Lollipop update. G+_Joseph Cappellino
This can be enabled on any device. The caveat is battery life.
G+_Madison Romero
My Nexus 7 can work from Lock screen only when docked. You don't realize how often you say Google though. It will come on all the time. I actually turned it off....
