G+_Levy Harrison
I just noticed that two factor auth may not be the best security on a device that has Hangouts installed. I was just attempting to log in with my 2012 Nexus 7 and when it asked for my code I grabbed for my phone. Before I could get my phone, Hangouts popped up and gave me the code on the Nexus 7. G+_Joseph Cappellino
I believe that's because you're using Google Voice to get the verification code, which Hangouts can now send/receive SMS. The work arounds would be to have it sent to your mobile number (not Google Voice) or use the Authenticator app.
G+_Levy Harrison
Yeah I'm sure that's what it is, I just found it a little jarring to see the security code for the device pop up on it like that. I changed Two factor back to the cell number and its all good.
