G+_Michael A
Who started using Hangouts for sms/mms? Me! Who can't figure out how to send to a "group"? Me! Ugh...
G+_Bart Dyer
Start a SMS with anyone. Next their name, there is a button that says "anyone else" click it and add away. They call it MMS at that point though but it functions the same?
G+_William Deboer
I use it and love it but there isn't custom ring tones for individual contacts. hope they add it soon
G+_Michael A
Bart Dyer I've seen that but I also have groups set up within google (gmail) and it would nice to be able to click one box for "the group" and not have to add each person separately. That's all I was looking for.
G+_Michael A
William Deboer Yea, I was looking for that too. Always nice to be able to set specific ring tones for people. Wife, office, etc.
G+_Kyle Turpin
I liked setting specific ringtones but found I haven't actually bothered for about 2 generations of phones now. My phone is by my side more or less all the time I'm at work and worried about answering only the important calls and when I'm at home I'm free to check the caller ID but can afford to be less picky about my calls. Someday when I have an afternoon idle to screw with my phone, I might do it again but it just hasn't been an important feature.
G+_William Deboer
Most of my communication is done by texts so it would be nice to have an audible cue so when I'm in front of a customer I could tell the difference
