G+_Luis Miranda
Android's framework, where lots of libraries are used for UI manipulation, are in java. Even if you tried python, how would you get around your limitation to android's framework due to language differences?

G+_Luis Miranda
Saurabh Jain html5 isn't a bad option either since that seems to be where we r headed. Am not sure of the support that u can get for html5 in android since it is an alien territory for me. However, java for android has a big support community. I'd learn java first to get u comfortable in the android world. Once you r comfortable, go with html5. My ~2cents
