G+_Charlene williams
Android is improved a lot in last few months. after pushing out Android 4.4 (KitKat) update, they at last leave behind the conventional way of dalvik VM to run apps and applied their new ART (Android runtime) . https://www.movzio.com/tech/general/androids-art-dalvik/ https://www.movzio.com/tech/general/androids-art-dalvik
G+_Michael Jordan
I gave ART a try on my HTC one M8 and had to switch back to dalvik... You would think ART or Android runtime would be more efficient because it does away with the jit compiler (just in time compilation) or the Dalvik method which compiles at runtime and instead compiles the entire application at install which fixes the latency problem. That is the simple explanation... ART ran beautiful on 4.4 with my Nexus 7 2013 but horrible on my HTC one M8... ART on 4.4 + device architecture and firmware
