G+_Darren Scourfield
I haven't heard anyone mention this at all, and I don't know when it started, but I can use the cast button (like in the YouTube app to cast to Chromecast) to cast to my Google TV. I don't know how new this is, but Chromecast used to be the only thing I could cast to. It could have been a Google TV update, it could have been a YouTube update, or maybe it just started happening after I installed Android "L" developer preview on my Nexus 7.? My Chromecast is now obsolete. #GoogleTV #Chromecast #androidlpreview
G+_Joseph Cappellino
It's probably the Android-L update. Which Google TV are you running?
G+_Nicholas Layton
I have the Sony Google TV. It might be the NSX-46GT1, I don't know the exact model number it looks like that one.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
Interesting. I may have to update to Android-L again and see how it goes.
G+_BK HVAC (Billy Knoth)
I know that it's a little off topic.... But I found it strange that I could cast to my tivo... Before chrome cast was released.... Only certain apps... Like Netflix and YouTube.... But it was Long before chrome cast... ?
G+_Nicholas Layton
I didn't think it had anything to do with Android L because the cast button in the quick settings does nothing. It's just a new device that's showing up when I click the cast button in the YouTube app.
