This makes a lot of sense

Andrew Betts That's reasonable. But I personally would not want to pay $500 for an Android tablet. I love Android on phones, but so far the iPad remains the best tablet on the market (in large part due to its app catalog) and the iPad Air 2 is also $500 so that's kind of a no-brainer. Plus, the big selling point for the Pixel C, in terms of hardware, is that awesome keyboard. It's obviously meant to be a sleek productivity machine. If it was running a tablet version of Chrome OS that could run some Android apps, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I really wish Android would add better support for keyboard/mouse inputs. Right click = LongPress should be a no brainier. And the precision of input should differentiate between touch and mouse.

Split screen should be easy though I can see a possible problem with screen overlays and differentiating a swipe in from one window and swiping out from another.
