G+_Vít?zslav Žurek
Why the heck can't I disable cellular data usage for a specific app? I read there are some firewall apps but they require root which I don't want to do because I find it silly if that would be the only reason. There is this one game which I play but it keeps loading some useless ladders which I don't even look at because it is essentially single player. MIUI from Xiaomi is so much better with this! Why can't Android learn something from those chineese not even in its fifth version??
G+_Marlon Thompson
If you are on 5.0 (I also believe for kit kat as well) go into settings, data usage, scroll down to the app you want to restrict, touch it and select restrict background data. G+_Vít?zslav Žurek
Marlon please, I thought it will not be necessary to clarify :-) Of course I did this, but have I asked for background data? Unfortunately the app uses quite some megabytes when I play it. But I know it works just fine when I disable all data, but why would I do that and block Facebook messenger or other apps which I use even when playing this game? G+_Vít?zslav Žurek
I think this is a legitimate request man. Maybe rather you don't answer if you don't know... Thanks
