G+_Snuffy Sims
Does anyone know why my Wifi-only tablet (Nexus 7 2012) has Mobile Network Configuration and Mobile Data apps? And why I can't remove, or at least disable them?
G+_Nick Gailfus
Probably something just built into Android that they didn't bother removing for tablets. I wouldn't be surprised if iOS has the same thing and a similar service is still there on iPads. Hell, Windows by default loads the wireless configuration service even if no wireless card is present. G+_Santos Cardona
Did you flash the wrong Rom?
G+_Alan Char
Santos Cardona Nope, I don't flash roms. I just root the OS that's there. Apparently all Wifi tablets have this. Not sure why it can't be removed, though, or at least disabled.
