Android Notifications on the Desktop

I don't want to be "that guy" so please don't take this as my poo-poo-ing Gina Trapani's arena pick. Quite the contrary. I'm all about getting my Android notifications on my desktop.

I looked at both Krome (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.damianpiwowarski.krome&hl=en) and Desktop Notifications (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.hcilab.projects.notification) and opted to go with Desktop Notifications then largely because it was free, but even now it seems like the better option.

For instance, DN was just updated to use Android 4.3's notification API which means not having to deal with any accessibility hoop-jumping.

While you do have to install a browser extension, one exists for Firefox as well as Chrome.

Now have I chosen poorly? Has anyone done a side-by-side comparison of the two products?

PS: I gave Krome my vote in the Arena because The Future.
