G+_Tom Gehrke
I keep coming back to Aviate because it embraces the spirit of Google Now giving me what I need when I need it. No, it's not perfect, but it's pretty good. And they keep making it better. They recently added icon theme support and now notification badges. It's definitely an active product now when it wasn't so much in the beginning. Glad they stepped things up. http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/03/25/aviate-update-adds-notification-badges-for-missed-calls-text-messages-email-and-other-apps/#hae5XvJyTh54T4mA.
G+_Ironzey Lewis
I haven't had a chance to use it. It really sounds like something designed to annoy and confuse me. #justnotforme

G+_Tom Gehrke
Marlon Thompson Again, it's one of those things where someone uses lots of widgets or really likes to customize things, it's not going to work out for them. I think the Aviate team recognizes that as a barrier to entry for a lot of folk and that's why these recent changes have been made. I've also been wondering if the relatively recent increase in update frequency is as a result of the Yahoo! acquisition. In which case, good on ya, Yahoo!! (Does an exclamatory sentence ending with Yahoo! require two exclamation points? I figured better safe than sorry...)
