You can turn Hangouts into an SMS only app with very little effort on Ron's part. All he simply has to do is go into Hangouts settings, select each of his Google accounts, scroll to bottom and sign out. Then the only option left is SMS as long as is enabled. I know I have a lot of Google accounts as seen in this picture, but this is what it will look like when signed out of everything but SMS. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
