G+_Alex Kruger
Alright gang, I need an app. I'm looking for something that allows me to quickly jot down thoughts, ideas, to-dos and tasks right in my notification drawer. I need something that I can set to keep as a persistent notification. I've tried Any Do, while very pretty just doesn't do what I want to. I've tried Notif Pro, and I liked it, but my notifications went away after a reboot with no way to bring them back. That made it a no go. I'm currently trying out ToDoist, but the free version doesn't do enough and I don't think I'll use it enough to justify the $28. Just to clarify, I need an app that will allow me to create quick notes, tasks, to-do, reminders, just a little bit of text, right from my notification drawer. Once created, they need to be persistent notifications, even after reboot. Ask with a central ago I can use like any other reminder app. Thank you. G+_Denise Hurd
Alex Kruger, I use todoist and evernote. I also use my ipad so the $29 for todoist syncing was worth it. Less then a starbucks latte per month :) On my android phone I use EN widgets set on my home screen to quickly make notes. If i need to set due dates I transfer it over to todoist. Yes, I know EN has reminders but I find todoist does it better.

G+_Tim Moule
Pushbullet. It will let you keep lists, notes, links, etc, in the shade with an option to restore dismissed links to your shade. The killer feature is that you push the note/link to another device - to your Android tablet's shade or to your chrome browser on your Mac or PC. I love it because I can push articles to my tablet to read, push to my Mac for things I want to remember when I'm at my desk or to my phone if I'm on the go. G+_Alex Kruger
Shaun Snee Notable was a featured app in the article, it's perfect. For those who want to check it out. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.icechen1.notable
G+_TJ Evans
Hmm, I don't like Notable being permanent in the notification bar - making that an option would be helpful. (For my needs, for now, I'll just stick with Evernote (+reminders) and shared Google Docs). Hope you find what you need, and keep sharing any results!
