Awesome tip for LastPass on Android! Thanks Gina!

(By the way I stumbled upon this post: http://goo.gl/VSbdWW by Gina Trapani from August 2012, when doing a Google search for "Lastpass mobile clear clipboard")

Make LastPass more convenient on Android

I could not recommend LastPass any more highly as the one place you stash and retrieve your passwords and security things. But the Android app isn't all that convenient to use-at least with the default settings.

To try a better way, log into the LastPass app, tap the menu button, and then tap Preferences. Look for the Default Site Action option, normally set to "Launch" (meaning "Launch in the LastPass browser that you're not used to"). Tap and change this to "Add copy notifications."

Now you've got one or two items in your notification tray, which you can tap to copy their contents to your clipboard and then easily tap-and-hold to paste into any app, or site in the browser of your choice.

Note: As suggested by David Lyons, you should paste your password first when using this method, so as not to potentially leave a copy-able password behind.
