G+_Serenity for Android
If you have a plex media server and are currently using either the mobile or google tv app, you might want to check out an alternative client. It provides a different way to navigate your content, and also works with external video players. See the play store link for more information and video demonstrations. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=us.nineworlds.serenity https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=us.nineworlds.serenity&feature=md
G+_Joseph Cappellino
Have you compared this to the PlexPass version? The new UI overhaul by the Plex team was awesome.
G+_Serenity for Android
yeah, they improved things, but there are features and functionality that is specific to plexpass members. Serenity does offer an offline download/sync capability as well. Also, it's interface is optimized for the 10ft viewing experience. It is just a different approach to providing access to your content. Room for both in the world.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
Agreed. I just wanted to make sure. Good luck!
G+_Paul Darr
What are the device limitations for this application?
G+_Serenity for Android
You can use any external video player. For tablets we recommend MX Player. You also need to have a device with a min of 200 dpi and 1280 x 720 display minimum. It should work with most tablets. It can natively play back whatever your device supports.
