G+_Kenny “KitkatRai” Rouss
I don't buy the whole "G+ is dead" talk, however I do think this is a pretty interesting development Originally shared by Android Central Here's some fodder for the "Google+ is dead" crowd. We've used two models of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 that don't have Google's own social networking app installed by default. (And that's saying something given all the crapware that's on Verizon's model.) Google has begun walking back Google+… http://www.androidcentral.com/google-isnt-preloaded-galaxy-note-
G+_Robert Marshall
Nothing surprises me when it comes to Samsung.
G+_Kenny “KitkatRai” Rouss
Robert Marshall True, but I always thought this was more of a Google thing, that if you wanted to have Google's services, you had to have ALL those apps pre installed, though I could be wrong was just what I had imagined
G+_Robert Marshall
Are Wallet and Keep installed by default? I haven't run a stock (OEM) rom in so long I can't remember.
G+_Kenny “KitkatRai” Rouss
Robert Marshall No they aren't, not all Google apps are installed by default but G+ definitely WAS one of them
G+_Julie Wills
Kenny Rousseau? Not a big surprise since G+ is being decoupled from other services. You used to have to use it for Photos and YouTube, so it used to be a "necessary" app. Now (or soon) you only need it if you want to use G+ as a social network.? G+_Kenny “KitkatRai” Rouss
Julie Wills Yeah I'm aware of all that, just thought it was interesting in how it's no longer pre-installed
