G+_Quincy Earl Jones
So, yesterday found an interesting use case my #chromecast. I like to watch web video while playing pc games on my laptop. I would usually use my tv via hdmi as the main screen for the game and use a hd monitor via a vga cable to play the video. Problem was that the audio for both would come from the same source meaning if I wanted to hear what was going on on the video, I would have to turn off any in-game background music and tweak the volume of the sound effects. However yesterday, I casted the web video to my tv in chrome and then ran the game as usually and boom! Sound from the web video played on the tv, sound from the game played on the laptop. Cool! I'm almost sure it will work the other way around by putting the #chromecast on the monitor.
