I can confirm the Android Police article that carriers are not allowing the Motorola bought Nexus 6 on their networks. I just tried both USCellular and Verizon and both turned a potential customer away. How F'd up is that?

But it's always been this way with Verizon. As long as there was a CDMA radio in it they refuse. The issue with the Nexus 7 (The Jeff Jarvis rant) I'd that this device didn't have a CDMA radio - only LTE - and they were obliged to accept the device and didn't.
