Si Revolution Review

This is a review of the Si Revolution keyboard by Snapkeys.

This keyboard, which was just released today, is the new version of SnapKeys Si, a keyboard that has been around since at least 2011 when it was shown off at CITA.

Time for a little history on this keyboard! Do you know the original name? It was 4k as for 4 keys. Then it became 2i, I think for intellectual interface. Finally it became Si for Social Interface.

A couple of weeks ago, they anounced that they were ditching their old layout for an alphabetical one. They introduced a completely new keyboard called Si Evolution which required you to type precisely on the big keys and in between for the small.

This is similar on the new Si Revolution but it is more like the old version in that you can tap anywhere on the keys, making it faster!

So how does this keyboard work? Letters A though S are on the 4 keys and for the rest simply tap in between.

That's pretty much it. This keyboard doesn't do anything else except being able to be invisible but Fleksy does this better and you don't have to learn a new layout.

Should you download this? I say no. It just takes forever to type.
