G+_Brandon Giesing / CosiC
SD Maid Review Are you running out of space on your Android device? Are you also rooted? Today, I will be taking a look at SD Maid and it's Pro version, which will help you gain space back! NOTE: THIS IS A ROOT APP AND I AM NOT LIABLE IF YOU BRICK YOUR DEVICE! When you first launch the app, you get a welcome screen that shows you the storage on your device and root status. This page doesn't do much else so we will skip right on to the next page. Explorer is a root file browser. You can use it for anything so be careful that you don't delete something important! Otherwise this page is only a small thing that this app can do. Searcher is a whole device file search. Again this is not that important. Now things start to get good! App control let's you uninstall system apps, freeze apps, and delete app data. CorpseFinder finds leftover app files. System cleaner removes some old junk and more can be ticked in options. Now the next two are only in the pro version. App cleaner removes cache and Duplicates does exactly what it says. Lastly there's Biggest Files which finds the biggest files on your device and allows you to delete them. There's one more thing, the Miscellaneous tab includes options like Optimization and History deleting. Over all you can free up a lot of space with this app. Is it a download and should you upgrade to the paid version? Yes and yes! You just free up so much space that it is worth it!
