Cross platform, tablet friendly and free I am of coures am a android user and my mom is IO6 and would like to chat on our tablet's. what apps do you suggest? (Nexus7 First Gen to Ipad mini. all up to date) looking at Trillian, BeejiveIM, eBuddy Messenger, and ICQ Free Calls & Messages. Can you come up withe better? G+_Paul Darr Posted October 7, 2013 Share Posted October 7, 2013 Ah I forgot WhatsApp doesn't support tablets on Google Play. So I guess that's not an option. It's a solid choice on phones so I forgot that part. Facebook and Microsoft are about the same in my book as far as messaging clients go. I've only used the Skype client on Linux and Android so it hasn't been too bad of an experience when I used it on those platforms.
