G+_Kenny “KitkatRai” Rouss
Some people are confused with the whole Google Wallet and Android pay thing, what it seems like to me (and I could be wrong about this in some ways) is that Google Wallet and Android Pay are going to be similar to how Google Drive and Docs work, Google Drive is the overarching system, while Docs is a specific part of it and doing a specific thing, Android Pay will be for payments via Android devices, but still be under the Wallet platform
G+_Joseph Cappellino
Kinda. There's actually 3 portions of it. * Google Wallet backend - Stores card information - Integrates with the card services - Etc. * Android Pay Framework - Allows apps to access the Google Wallet backend via a standard set of APIs * Google Wallet Android App - Uses the Android Pay Framework to hook into the Google Wallet backend. The main differentiator is that Android Pay is for Android devices only, whereas Google Wallet is available for iOS devices as well (without as much 3rd-party integration and Tap-and-Pay).
