G+_Stephen Hart
How do you measure the remaining capacity of a single use AA lithium battery? The standard battery checkers are for a lower voltage battery so they don't work. I'm using pairs of AA lithiums in point/shoot cameras.
G+_610GARAGE
You can't. Lithium batteries only loose voltage at the very beginning of and the very end of their capacity. So a lithium battery will put out the same voltage; whether it is at 70% or 30%. The only way to know the state of a lithium battery is to know when it is fully charged, and monitor current draw from there.
G+_Stede Bonnett
That's right, it's one of the reasons knowing your remaining battery capacity on your phone is so hard, and why plugging it in for a few min may appear to restore like half the charge. G+_Stephen Hart
Just to clarify - this is the single use AA lithium batteries that have about twice the capacity of alkaline AA batteries and are about 1.6 V. Not the rechargeable ones.
