Yes it is possible to use only idevices. The iPhone takes good video and you can use Final cut to edit.

Vimeo does editing? Hey how can I do more then one video source using any of these apps? Say for example camera switches and imputing Skype video capture? I do realize I can't capture skype on iOS devices though.

David Drost Let the pc do the heavy lifting, editing, sound and such. There are programs to capture multi inputs. Manycam is the one I have used. It is not free but it is pretty good. For the Skype capture, I think a program called Pamela will do that. I have not used it so I don't know if it is free or paid or how well it works. As far as doing this on an iPad, I don't think it is possible. Hope this helps.

i don't think you could use a switcher with the ipad. that is what you would need to do two video sources at once. there are mixers so you could do it with audio just not video i don't think.
