G+_Dan Phillips
How about a show on how to downgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 7? It's not as easy as you think. A friend of mine just bought a new Samsung laptop that came with Windows 8 pre-installed and he had no use for it. While preparing to wipe the drive and install a copy of Windows 7, we noticed that the hard drive had 6 partitions. I assumed this was due to all of the system restore options that 8 offers. So that left us with no choice but to blow them all away which would void the warranty on the new laptop. Has anyone else run into issues?
G+_Mathew Hoffman
Saw something similar on new Compaq laptop purchased for my son. So I setup Win8 and then took the newly configured drive out and replaced it with a new unused hard drive. Loaded Win 7 ultimate and everyone's happy! G+_John Mink
Dan Phillips you should be able to get a CD image from tech support, or you could copy the partition onto a backup drive. Or ideally an image of the restoration partitions. Just bug tech support!
