G+_Alex Knutson-Smisek
iyaz akhtar I noticed from your review of the ceton echo that you have a htpc setup to record live TV. What hardware do you use to get TV signal into the htpc? It would be cool to see an episode on this because its a pretty complicated procedure from what I can tell. G+_Christopher Duncan
You would use a Cable Card adapter (some are USB and some are internal) and get a Cable Card from your cable company. Comcast usually will have them at their service centers, others you may have to fight on the phone with them.
G+_Cole Brodine
They have networked TV Tuners with Cable Cards over at Silicondust (The HD Homerun Prime) http://www.silicondust.com/products/hdhomerun/prime/ I have their "over the air" networked TV Tuner and it is a great product. I love the networked one, that way all your computers and tablets, etc can connect to it.
G+_iyaz akhtar
Alex Knutson-Smisek I use an HD HomeRun attached to my network that is accessed by my Media Center PC. We talked a bit about my set up on http://twit.tv/show/know-how/
