G+_Joseph Hurtsellers
I'm asking this here as a last resort. I've got a new Android device running 4.1.1 but it won't grab my Google Photo's. Everything else works flawlessly. I've quadruple checked my settings, force closed and cleared the app data several times, tried several other "gallary" apps; all with the same negative result. (Naturally my pics in G+ are all fine; but I wanted the official Gallery app to run.) I've looked all over the web for a solution but can't find one. I'm thinking of doing a complete data wipe and factory reset - but that's really going to be a pain. Anyone have any ideas to help me because I'm at my wits end? G+_favio cuervo
Did you check your sync options? In settings, under accounts, click on google. Look at gallery?
G+_Max Heep
Sorry-no answer (kindda newbie), but this should be your first "resort". People here are friendly and knowledgeable. You'll see!
G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
If you have multiple Google accounts, be sure to log into the account that has the photos.
G+_Michael A
If I read this right, you want your phone gallery to see what you already have on Google? Go into the stock gallery app, settings, view album, choose all. Then yes, make sure your Google settings have you connected and make sure sync is on. If you have a lot of pics, it might take a few min to sync them all. Good luck.
G+_Wade Shields
What kind of phone is it? You said running 4.1.1 but that could be a lot of phones. Not all OEM's gallery apps are the same. Also are you rooted?
G+_Joseph Hurtsellers
Wow .... Thanks everybody... I'm so glad I asked here! I'm out and about so I not be able to respond until tomorrow but thanks soooo much!!!

G+_Joseph Hurtsellers
Wade Shields it's actually a mini Android device; the Rikomagic 8023s. Pretty amazing that you get a full blown Jelly Bean Android device about the size of a pack of gum for 58 bucks. Everything works flawlessly with a remote keyboard - except my pics. BTW; I THINK it comes pre-rooted.
G+_Joseph Hurtsellers
Michael A I beleive I've done that; I go to the stock gallery app - (hit the three dots on the upper right) - select "select album", then I choose "select all". Sadly I get nothing :(

G+_Wade Shields
Make sure you are syncing Picasa in the Accounts & Sync section of the settings & not Google Photos. I'm not sure what the difference is, I just know syncing Google Photos doesn't do what you want.
G+_Wade Shields
Does this device get the Play Store & all the other pre-loaded Google apps (Gmail, Search, G+, etc)? I ask because it sounds like a specialty device, that may not be running Android as the framework, but not Google supported. Otherwise, must be a phone flaw. I've had 4 different Android phones & I never had to do anything more than make sure sync Picasa was checked in the Accounts & Sync settings, and some OEM's require you to change a setting in the gallery app. You've done all that. G+_Joseph Hurtsellers
Thanks a ton Wade Shields. The device supports and comes with the full Google Play store and all of my Google apps (Gmail, Search, ect.) automatically download when I start it up. (As a matter of fact it's sort of astonishing that you can get these kind of devices - and it totally kills any interest in Google TV for me.) Interestingly enough though; I do NOT get an option to sync Picassa - it simply doesn't appear as an option. However; I do not get that option on either of my two other android devices - the Nexus 7, and Galaxy Nexus. The menus are IDENTICAL on all three devices. Quite the mystery here. G+_Joseph Hurtsellers
Omar Sa'd It's actually an Android Mini PC (it's designed to plug into the HDMI of your TV and convert it to a full android device) Model is the Rikomagic 802IIIs It comes with the full play store and Jellybean Version 4.1.
G+_Wade Shields
I always wondered why I got options to sync both Picasa & Google Photos. Maybe it is because I started using Picasa before G+ ever came into existence.
G+_Joseph Hurtsellers
I don't think that's it Wade Shields because I was doing the same. Very strange
G+_Joseph Hurtsellers
One other clue on my situation is that when I select "sync now", I notice the little spinny arrow thing go down the list of items and pause and spin as it syncs them, but when it gets to "Google Photos" it just sort of skips it - touches it for a plit second - then moves on. It's as if I have no photo's so there is nothing to sync.
G+_Wade Shields
Sounds like a Google problem to me, not a device problem, but what do I know. If you haven't done this already, I would dig through the web settings of G+ and Picasa and see if there is something blocking it. Sorry I couldn't help more. I've been spoiled to not have any of these Google Sync issues, but I've just been lucky.
