The installation and setup of the jdk and android studio could make a good episode. Getting started with development requires downloading files specific to running java code on your computer as well as the IDE. Many people just getting started with android studio made the mistake of not pointing the program to the file location of their jdk install during the setup process which causes it to crash. Remember though that the android studio is still in development and major changes might be made before it's finalized.
