G+_Joseph Sacco
How about an episode on replacing a standard hard drive with an SSD. Complete with reformatting and adding a boot partition

G+_Vincent Tompkins
Joseph Sacco Which OSs are you using? I went with an SSD + spinning HD. SSD for most of the OS files and the spinning drive for Cache operations and other temp files. So for Windows that would mean after installing Windows, disable the page file from drive C: then enable it on D: <- mechanical drive. Some also recommend disabling hybrid sleep mode and hibernation. For the record I have hibernate enabled. I'm running Win8 + WMC w/HDHomerun and Fedora 19. /var is on the spinning drive.
G+_Joseph Sacco
I'm going to put this in a Mac mini. I may use the old SATA for the data or my iTunes library. Most of my data are tech manuals in PDF format that I use for work and about 50 movies that I stream throughout the house
