Hey Padre, How about getting into Pixhawk/APM flight controllers using Mission Planner software? Also some flight controller reviews like the new The JIYI P2 Auto pilot from Hobby King (NAZA knock off) and the Eagle Tree Vector . You really need a "quad only" show :)

I would also like to see some activity involving the Pixhawk PX4 since I have one.  I would especially like to see someone review and compare the different ground control software packages for it like APM Planner, Mission Planner and Qgroundcontrol since QGC is the only one that will actually work on mine!  Both Pixhawk and 3DR have glossy sales brochures telling how great the PX4 is but what they don't tell you is that it doesn't come with any software so you have to depend on crappy open sourced shareware that may or may not work at all!  When I first got the PX4 middle of last year and tried the different software packages NONE of it would work at all!  QGC would not even run!  Both Pixhawk and 3DR have forums but when I complained about the software not working all I got was rude comments from the trolls saying I shouldn't say anything about the best software ever in the whole world, never mind that it doesn't work!  The QGC Google+ forum even kicked me off for saying the software didn't work.  I got a few less than helpful suggestions but they were all stupid ideas like running it in Linux (even though it's exactly the same as in Windows and doesn't work either) or that I had something wrong at my end.  However I'm a network administrator not a programmer, and not working on development of any of these programs so there's nothing I can do to fix them from here.  The folks who are supposed to be maintaining APM Planner and Mission Planner flat out refused to fix any of the problems but after a while someone did step up and start trying to fix QGC. It may not be widely known but they release a new version with bug fixes nearly every day on Github!  Anyone who doesn't believe any of this can check the bug reports for QGC on Github starting the middle of last year and follow it's progress from when it wouldn't work at all until it got up to the point of running, then didn't have any features but they were added but then it wouldn't program the PX4. Finally that was fixed and now it seems to run pretty well.  The last time I checked APM Planner and Mission Planner still didn't work but Pixhawk has released an app for tablets called Tower to get around some of the problems with crappy software since they won't be able to sell any more modules if the software doesn't work.
