G+_Martin Tatlock
KH64 - Great show - iyaz akhtar and Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ you make a great team! Show Idea - please could you show us how to make one ADSL modem router work only as a modem so a separate WiFi modem can plug into it and work as the network router? I have a basic ADSL modem router which I need to connect to the internet and I also have a WiFi router without a modem included that I would like to use as the router. Many thanks and keep up the good work!

G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Martin Tatlock Ahhhhh... the wonders of those pre-packaged telco modems/routers/APs. -- Unfortunately it really depends on how much the telco has locked down the modem/router. It used to be that you could turn off all routing/NAT features and have the modem pass through a real IPv4 address, but more and more I'm seeing DSL gear that simply doesn't have that option. Let me look into it.
