I've used it for reasonably simple holiday video editing.  You can drag videos onto a timeline, crop, join, transitions, effects and titles.  You can also add music from a creative commons library.  The rendering is nice - since it happens on the server its quick and allows you to edit videos on virtually any machine.  Only thing I miss is that it just has a video and sound track - not multiple video tracks.

steve c When I drag a second video onto the timeline, it has the rotate, effects, text, split controls as well - so each video segment on the timeline can be edited independently.  If I wanted to clip a second off the end, I'd just split the video and delete the segment I didn't want (if that makes sense).  There is a nice tutorial at: http://goo.gl/Y734T4

steve c You can give the project/video whatever name you want.  If you select a previous project, it will allow you to remix it if you want to re-edit it.  Its saving the project as you go, so you don't need to explicitly save.  You publish when you're ready to.  I'm not saying Pixar would use it, but its not bad for something simple.
