G+_Alex Martinez
Hm how about a episode about backing up and a couple of program recommendations and how to use them. I been looking into different ways of backing up so thought it would be cool to have a show all about that.
G+_Jerry McMurphy
And include details on restoring... That is the part always omitted in any discussion of backups!

G+_Brian Cotter
I use pure sync, it's straight forward, easy to set up and powerful
G+_Alex Martinez
lol so many choices . I was debating on using the default windows back up but i seen soo many other choices. And also the thing that some progams like synctoy syncs with hard drives and you can see the data direct and others that you have to use a program to access the back up files but use shadowing versions of the files which is cool

G+_Will Pherigo
You could certainly pull in Steve Gibson for some thoughts that might be helpful.
G+_Bruce Miller
I use Crashplan and have no complaints. Set it and forget it. Backup local and to a friends computer for free. You can also back up to their cloud for a fee (around $10/month)
G+_Jerry McMurphy
I use osx server for time machine backups of my Macs, but not really necessary since data is all stored on server (media mostly) and Dropbox (documents and other important stuff). Server backup is my primary concern... Currently using carbon copy cloner to clone raid array shares to another external drive.
G+_Russ Hall
I use an old command line version of PKzip with a batch file. The password is in the batch file so it comes out encrypted and ready to upload safely to amazon.
