G+_James Hillman
Show suggestion. The definitive clean install guide. Seems I always forget something when I wipe my drive and start over. Recommended utilities, methods, etc. Thanks for the great show.
G+_Dan Phillips
That's easy. Do a clean install then use Ghost or other software to image the drive. Then you just restore the image whenever you need to re install. I can remember Leo talking about that years ago on CFH
G+_William Burlingame
BelArc provides a pretty comprehensive list of what's included in your current setup. http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
G+_Dan Phillips
http://pcdecrapifier.com/ is a great tool. If you buy a computer from an OEM, this program is a great way to uninstall all the bloatware.
G+_James Hillman
Good stuff. Thanks. I've used decrapifier and it rocks! Does anyone know if it's possible to backup and restore users desktops (files, icons, start menu, background, etc). I'm currently using Vista, but will soon move to Win 8)
G+_Rob Houge
How about a dual boot win8/Ubuntu onto a new ssd? I just got an Asus x401a which I plan to upgrade with 8g of ram and a 128g ssd. It should scream on Ubuntu but I'll need to boot win8 for some work apps.?
