not sure if there was a show on soldering/welding but usually when you're dealing with hardware you always need one off mounts, how about some segments on using some simple household material coat hangers (metal), wires, piping etc...  to show what can be user and shouldn't be used and how to make them stable.....  could even go over suggested materials that are easily accessible 

 

examples: camera mounts, laptop or small PC mounts, phone mounts, sensors and so on
