G+_Tim Thomas
Originally shared by Tim Thomas I just preordered the S8. Usually the first thing I do when I get a new Samsung device is try to remove as much TouchWiz as possible. Now with the Samsung Experience integrated into all of the phone with it's dedicated Bixby button, it's security/password features inside the browser, theme engine, ect, it might be better to keep it like it is...But I don't know if I can. I love Nova Launcher too much.?
G+_Dale Dubnyk
Uh.,...there is a ton more to Touchjizz than just nova...
G+_Tim Thomas
What I am trying to say is that one of the things that I hate about Samsung phones is the double apps. Samsung has its own browser, email, messaging, keyboard, artificial intelligence, calendar, and app store. I rather use Google apps, but this phone looks to have a lot more Samsung Experience integrated throughout, that I may be forced to use them instead of Gmail, Chrome, GBoard, Messages, ect. G+_Kyle Hasegawa
Interested to hear how it goes. It wasn't too hard to get the Note7 close enough to vanilla Android but I share your concerns with the new integrations.
G+_Dale Dubnyk
Try make the settings app like vanilla Android, or the quick settings. Won't happen. Most frequently used items on my phone and if those can't make sense, I'd never go Samsung.
