G+_Sam Zick
Show idea: how to set up a personal (and local) wiki. I would love to be able to do this. At a prior job, we used a wiki for storing troubleshooting information, and if a new solution was found, any employee at the computer HelpDesk, was able to add the information to the page on the subject. I am really good at editing wiki material, I just need to know how to set one up for personal use.

G+_Sam Zick
Elizabeth Whitmire, is this easy to set up, I'd like to be able to use it on multiple machines, but I don't quite know how to do the whole web server thing.
G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
Sorry Sam Zick it's something I've been looking into but haven't tried yet. And I wasn't going to do a complicated setup. It seems pretty easy though.
G+_Troy Poirier
Sam Zick You could try a Bitnami stack (http://bitnami.org/stacks). They are cross-platform so good for any OS, and there is one called TikiWiki that might do the trick. Also one stack called DokuWiki. Easy to install and uninstall so maybe you could give them both a try.
