G+_Dallam Oliver-Lee
Winn-Dixie, a grocery store chain owned by Southeastern Grocers, disabled NFC payments on all terminals and enabled chip and pin. Android Pay no longer works at Winn Dixie. It takes longer to pay chip and pin versus Android Pay. Anyone else seeing this trend?
G+_Gary Volk
I think until the industry gets all these changes made this is going to happen. Chip and pin is mandatory and it has been a huge problem getting up and running. Android pay is more of a nice to have but not a need to have for many businesses. Until chip and pin is working, which I believe will be used by more people in the US, I would not expect other forms of payment to take precedent. Just my simple opinion. G+_Alan M Carlino Jr
Much as I want to use Android Pay, it's not really usable due to stores not wanting it. Unless Google or Apple offer these stores some incentives, they are either going to ignore NFC or come out with their own crap apps.
G+_Dallam Oliver-Lee
Subway is more open. They enabled chip and pin like 6 months ago and they were doing chip and sign before that. Subway still accepts NFC payments.
