G+_John Downey
Has anyone been able to use a pi zero as a web video server. I have been able to set it up to stream video to a VLC player, but not a web browser. I have not been able to stream video to a web browser. I am trying to use motion software. G+_Travis Hershberger
Steaming video is basic file serving, nothing special and all versions of the RPi should handle that just fine. How are you trying to stream video to a web browser? What motion software?
G+_John Downey
Motion is a MJPEG-streamer software. Several places recommend this software. the problem appears to be unzipping and compiling the mjpg-r63.tar.gz package
G+_Travis Hershberger
The big, huge question with that is, does it support a codec that the graphics adapter on the Pi can accelerate? I'm betting you're having to wait, wait, wait for cpu transcoding somewhere.
