G+_Greg Lewis
You can now run Android apps in Windows and Mac environments. I use Bluestacks to play and sync my podcasts using Pocket Cast. I can play and resume all of my podcasts across all of my mobile and desktop devices. I would love to see a Bluestacks discussion on AAA. Lenovo recently struck a Bluestacks to bundle the product on select Windows based products. http://m.techcrunch.com/2013/02/12/bluestacks-brings-over-750000-android-applications-to-windows-8-and-surface-pro/
G+_Richard Dowd
YES! Than you so much for bringing this idea to me +Greg Lewis ! I'm a super heavy podcast listener but have been desperate to get away from itunes, but still the innovation is on mobile apps!
G+_Greg Lewis
I forgot to mention I use Google Play in Bluestacks instead of the browser. I have always had problems with the album art and the Web interface. The Android version of Google Play has a better user interface.

G+_John Mink
Richard Dowd there are plenty of solutions out there for people trying to avoid iTunes. Have you tried google reader + some podcast app? I say that because lots of Android apps sync with Google Reader, as it's well known & stable...but lacks a good interface. Anyway, I bet you'd get a great discussion if you started a post on here regarding what to use instead of iTunes!
G+_Greg Lewis
The advantage to using Pocket Cast is its sync capability. I can suspend a podcast on one device and automatically resume it where I left off on another device.
G+_Dave Bach
I loaded up BlueStacks last night on a Windows 7 machine but even the Google+ app failed to run because it said it couldn't connect. It wasn't a very pleasant experience.
G+_Greg Lewis
Dave I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Bluestacks. I have it running on 2 Windows 7 machines. I am not sure I tried Googke+. I have successfully run Google Music, Flipbooks Pocket casts, and Angry Birds for my daughter. The software still is in beta. G+_Dave Bach
Greg Lewis why not just run the angry birds app inside the chrome browser?...or going to the Google Music website?
G+_Greg Lewis
Dave. Google Music in my Web browser has never reliably displayed album art. The Web version also tended to split some albums up. It was very frustrating. I never had the same issues with the Android version. I also prefer the Android UI for Google Music. You have a valid point on Angry Birds.
