You can now run Android apps in Windows and Mac environments. I use Bluestacks to play and sync my podcasts using Pocket Cast.

I can play and resume all of my podcasts across all of my mobile and desktop devices.

I would love to see a Bluestacks discussion on AAA.

Lenovo recently struck a Bluestacks to bundle the product on select Windows based products.

Richard Dowd there are plenty of solutions out there for people trying to avoid iTunes. Have you tried google reader + some podcast app? I say that because lots of Android apps sync with Google Reader, as it's well known & stable...but lacks a good interface.

Anyway, I bet you'd get a great discussion if you started a post on here regarding what to use instead of iTunes!

Dave I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Bluestacks. I have it running on 2 Windows 7 machines. I am not sure I tried Googke+. I have successfully run Google Music, Flipbooks Pocket casts, and Angry Birds for my daughter.

The software still is in beta.

Dave. Google Music in my Web browser has never reliably displayed album art. The Web version also tended to split some albums up. It was very frustrating. I never had the same issues with the Android version. I also prefer the Android UI for Google Music. You have a valid point on Angry Birds.
